These are the terms you agree to when you use mHub. The short version: your drawings stay yours and only ever go to the one shop that makes your order, the price you see at checkout is the price we charge, and if we get a part wrong we fix it at our cost.
Who you are dealing with
mHub is operated by CSGME (ABN 76 453 500 515), trading as mHub. In these terms, we, us and mHub mean CSGME, and you means the person or business using the site or placing an order.
Using mHub means you accept these terms. If you are ordering for a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.
What mHub does
You upload a drawing, we price it, and if you order we send the job to an Australian fabricator who cuts the parts and delivers them. The price comes from our own quoting engine reading the geometry in your file, which is why it arrives in seconds rather than days.
Your contract for the parts is with us. The fabricator is our subcontractor. If something goes wrong with your order you deal with us, not with them.
Accounts
Accounts are currently invite only. If you do not have an invite you can join the waitlist and we will get to you.
You sign in with a passkey or a password. Keep your credentials to yourself, and tell us at hello@mhub.au if you think someone else has access to your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
We can suspend or close an account being used to abuse the service, and we can decline or cancel an order we cannot make safely or lawfully, including anything on the list in What you cannot order. If we cancel an order you have paid for, you get a full refund.
Your drawings and your intellectual property
You keep ownership of everything you upload. Nothing you send us becomes ours.
You give us a limited licence to store, process and display your files for the purpose of quoting them to you. If you place an order, that licence extends to disclosing the file to the one fabricator who makes that order, for the sole purpose of making and delivering it, and to keeping our own copy afterwards so that we can sort out any problem with what we supplied. That is the whole of the licence.
We do not use your files to train any model or machine learning system, we do not use them to improve our products, and we do not share them with anyone outside the purpose above.
In practice a fabricator receives your drawing only when the job is dispatched, which happens after you have paid. Everything before that runs through our own quoting engine, including the prices and the lead time. Before you pay, the shop that would make your order is shown only by its suburb and state. You see its name once you have paid. A fabricator never receives a file for a job that was never ordered.
You confirm you have the right to send us what you upload, and that making the parts will not infringe anyone else's rights.
Quotes and prices
- Prices are in Australian dollars and exclude GST. GST is added at checkout and shown as its own line.
- A price is calculated from the geometry in your file and the material, thickness and quantity you choose. Change any of those and the price changes.
- Charges other than the parts themselves, such as delivery and the minimum job charge, are itemised before you pay. The total on the checkout screen is the total we charge.
- A price is an estimate until you pay. We re-price your cart at checkout, and if anything has moved you see the new figure before you are charged.
- Some parts cannot be priced automatically. Where that happens the site says so, and why, instead of guessing. We do not quote parts by hand, so a part without a price cannot be ordered until it can be priced.
Orders and payment
Payment is by card through Stripe's hosted checkout. Your card details never reach mHub. We hold a reference to the Stripe session and nothing more.
Paying places the order. We then send it to a fabricator, and you can follow it on your order page from confirmation through cutting, quality check, dispatch and delivery.
Delivery and lead times
Lead times shown on the site are estimates based on how quickly the fabricator has been turning work around recently. They are not guarantees, and steel being steel, a job occasionally runs long. If yours does, we will tell you rather than let you wonder.
We deliver to the address you give at checkout, or you can collect from the fabricator where that option is offered. Delivery charges are itemised before you pay.
Cancellation, refunds and getting it put right
What you are entitled to depends on why the order needs changing, so here are all four cases rather than one rule about timing.
You change your mind. Full refund any time before cutting starts. Once the job is cutting it cannot be cancelled: the material is committed and the part is already being made. Your order page shows which side of that line the job is on.
The part is wrong or not of acceptable quality. We put it right at our cost, whatever stage it is at and whether or not it has been cut. This is not affected by the rule above: “cut is cut” is about changing your mind, never about defects. The consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law apply to what we supply, they cannot be contracted out of, and nothing in these terms tries to.
The drawing was wrong. We cut what we are given. A part that matches your drawing is a part correctly made, so a corrected run is a new order at the normal price. This is the one case where the cost of a mistake sits with you, and it is the one case where nobody but you could have caught it.
The fabricator cannot deliver. We move the job to another fabricator. If the new shop costs more, we tell you the difference before it starts on your parts, and you choose: pay the difference, or take a full refund. You never pay more without agreeing to it first.
Refunds go back to the card that paid, in full, with nothing deducted.
What we need from you
- The drawing is right. We cut the geometry in the file you upload, at the dimensions it carries. Check it before you order.
- The material and thickness suit the job. We quote and cut what you select. We do not give engineering advice and nothing on the site should be read as a design or structural recommendation.
- Check certification before you order if it matters. Test certificates are available for some materials and not others. Where they are not, the cart says so before you pay.
What you cannot order
You must not use mHub to order:
- firearms or firearm parts, suppressors or magazines
- knives, machetes, swords and other bladed weapons, whether or not they are sharpened, and explosive devices, weapons or weapon mounts
- anything on the Defence and Strategic Goods List, or otherwise controlled under Australian export or import law
- anything intended to hurt someone or to break the law
If we or the fabricator think an order may be one of these, we can hold it and ask you about it. If you do not reply in the time we give you, or your answer does not satisfy us, we cancel the order and refund it in full. We can report suspected unlawful activity to the authorities, and we do not have to tell you first.
Parts we hold for review
Before you pay, we check every part for anything that looks like a knife, blade or weapon, using the shape of the part and what you've called it. A laser-cut blank with no edge can still count.
If a part looks like one, we hold it. You can't pay for it until we've looked at it, and nothing is charged. You can remove it and order the rest, or tell us what it is and what it's for. Someone at mHub will look at the file and either clear it or keep it held. A cleared file can be ordered as normal, by you or anyone else who uploads the same file. A file we keep held stays held on later orders.
If a fabricator raises a concern about a part after you've paid, we deal with it as set out in What you cannot order.
Liability
The consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law apply to what we supply and cannot be excluded. Nothing on this page limits them, and nothing on this page should be read as trying to.
Cut metal parts are not goods of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic or household use. Where the law allows us to limit our liability for failing to meet a consumer guarantee, we limit it to replacing the parts, supplying them again, or paying the cost of having that done.
Beyond that, and only so far as the law allows:
- Our total liability for anything to do with an order is capped at what you paid for that order.
- We are not liable for consequential or indirect loss. That includes lost profit, lost revenue, a contract you lost, downtime, delay costs, and the cost of whatever you were fitting our parts into.
- We do not check that a drawing is fit for its purpose, structurally adequate, or compliant with any standard or code. We cut the geometry you give us, in the material you choose. Those judgements are yours, or your engineer's.
None of this limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
Privacy
How we handle your personal information, and who sees what and when, is set out in our Privacy Policy. The clause on your drawings in section 4 above and the disclosure to a fabricator described there are the same rule stated from two sides.
Assignment
We may transfer these terms, and the personal information held under our Privacy Policy, to a related or successor entity, on notice to you. Any entity taking them over takes on the same obligations. We expect to do this once MHUB PTY LTD (ACN 703 333 046, registered 19 October 2026) takes over the business from CSGME. You may not transfer your account or an order to someone else without our agreement.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. The current version is always on this page and the revision date at the top says when it last moved. A change never applies retrospectively to an order you have already paid for: the terms that applied when you paid are the terms for that order.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and the courts there have jurisdiction.
Questions, complaints, or anything you think this page gets wrong: hello@mhub.au. A person reads that address.
